Here at Yume, we are dedicated to reducing the amount of edible food that goes into landfill in any capacity. Food rescue organisations do an incredible job but we know that there is still so much potential when it comes to surplus food, and there are a myriad of reasons why food doesn’t find a good home.

So if a supplier can’t find a buyer, or they just want to donate and distribute their surplus product as quickly as possible, we can connect them to one of our registered food rescue organisations.

Organisations such as

SecondBite and OzHarvest work hard to rescue and distribute food to those who need it the most.

Our goal

Our goal is to contribute over 40,000 tonnes to food rescue organisations in the next five years, that’s enough for 80 million hearty, nutritious meals.
