Product Manager
Organisational Context
Yume is on a mission to end commercial food waste.
An award winning social enterprise and one of Australia's leading start-ups, Yume transforms how the
food industry sells, donates and buys clearance and excess food through innovative and unique
technology, the first and only of its kind in Australia.
Developed through collaboration with leading food manufacturers, Yume answers the need for greater
visibility of the end to end journey of ageing stock. Food businesses can now step back from
managing food at risk of going to waste and allow Yume's tech platform to do the heavy lifting.
The likes of Mars Food, Unilever and General Mills are already using Yume to sell clearance and
excess food to other businesses in the food industry, while taking advantage of Yume's donation
technology to connect to food relief organisations such as SecondBite - all with the click of a button.
Rapidly developing our technology to solve the inefficiencies of food systems for a more sustainable
world, every day at Yume is different. As a start-up, new opportunities and challenges are met with
creativity - we welcome new ideas with open arms. With a shared passion for driving sustainable
outcomes, the Yume team thrive by seeing the measurable impact of their actions through their work
everyday.
